I'm so sorry to hear all of that! D: I am sure that you will be able to keep in touch with your friends after graduation! And it's really unfortunate that your classmate's mother is missing at the moment. I really hope that she is found or accounted for, and that the Philippines is not hit by an earthquake! Many of my friends are from there with family currently living there, and I would never want anything bad to happen!! >____<
It is sad... I am sorry to hear all that, but you have to keep thinking positive. You see first, there isn't going to be radiation there where you live. I have heard rumors that it could come where I live, and that's like in Europe -_-', so don't believe all those fake rumors! And about friends... I know, it will be hard. You there are finishing with high school much earlier than we here. It is a sad thing, but that doesn't mean that you will forget and leave all your friends. You will still see them, even if it doesn't look like that. If you and they truly believe in that and want that you are together, then that will stay for a long time!
I hope that they will find your classmate's mother... That is really shocking, but it could be that they lost connection to those places, so there is a high possibility that she is all right! I hope that is that way...
So Japan had another earthquake... But it is good to know that it is getting weaker and I hope that that one hasn't caused major damage. Soon earthquakes will stop, and then Japan can turn to recover again!
And about that last one. I don't know, I truly hope and believe that it won't happen and that you will stay strong. These guys who are saying those stuff sometimes can dramatic stories, so it doesn't always have to be that. They just love to scare people. And please stay strong and try to survive all that!!
^-^ I'm glad i could help relief you :)
Could you please keep me updated if anything hits where you are, or anything, if not I'll worry a lot about you

Based from the news, its not on the magnitude itself. The force they're mentioning is the one that comes from the main source of it instead, which is actually a few distance since the world in a spherical shape.
The Japan Fault (if I remember) has a different direction when you connect it with the faults found in the Philippines. However, the magnitude that occurred in Japan could possibly reach ours and may cause additional movement to the presumed soon-to-be moving fault.
Philippines has many faults. One shocking coincidence is that they all cross along Marikina.
Ah I see~
Well I think the Japan incident can be connected here. I mean, the crust of the earth has plates. So If one moves because of strong force, others might get affected or others might move as well. But I dunno XD I'm no science expert.
About that earthquake, sounds scary. Most especially because it's almost impossible to know how strong it would be.
My classmate is here and his mother is still in Japan. Until now, no news was found out about his mother...
You're 16 too? Semester? Are you college? If that is so, well, I'm still in high school.... What I mean in graduation is that I'm graduating in high school.
I'm not sure if its moving. But four years ago, Marikina Fault Valley was already presumed to be active again. And now its happening. I'm not sure if Japan's magnitude contributed to this...

She must be very sad right now. Is she still in Japan??
Btw, how come that you're going to graduate soon? We're in the same age and I'm only in my second semester.
I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls <3
Today was the only day I didn't listen to the news because of power outage and today's news had so many updates :/
About the Marikina Valley Fault moving, is that true? I mean, wow. If that would move, the whole country could be affected. I dunno. It's like, because of Japan's net force (The earthquake 8.9 thing) The whole world's movement got affected.
Gonna go to a news website now~

True. But 8.9 is really strong. But I think the only ones that would reach the Philippines aren't really strong because of the distance it traveled.
