How about not to change... BUT to improve. :) I mean, maybe what you will be doing in the future and at college requires for you to not have an art block and to let mood affects you, but even the biggest professionalists have that.
What you need to do is just practice and go through it. And the end it will come on itself, so you won't have to worry for that. I mean, for what else is there a college, but to learn?
So don't worry, just go moving forward and don't worry about it. Definitely don't forget that you have a strong heart as an artist and that you want to get better in that. At the end, it will help you greatly. :D
