Yeah, equal representation would be a good thing. Disney's recent movies are something of a step forward, though, because in the past there's been a lot of focus on women's pursuit of romance, as if that will fix all of their problems. In this there's the 'you can't marry someone you just met!' (It's about time Disney realized that, lol) and there's also that moment where Anna saves herself with an act of true love for her sister and no romance is needed. Much better role models.
Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.
Yeah, there are a lot of lessons that can be learned from Elsa. One that comes to mind is that she is taught to try to hide herself from everyone and that only leads to her being afraid of herself. I think a good thing about this one is that the protagonists are imperfect. Elsa messes things up and pushes people away because she's scared, and for the same reason she won't allow herself to trust anyone. Anna makes mistakes because she's naive, and although Kristoff is a very nice person, but comes off as grumpy and unkind at first (and has a weird thing going on with the reindeer. Someone joked that if Anna and Kristoff get married, Sven will have to be the best man, so his speech will just be Kristoff talking about himself in the Sven voice.)
Another good thing about it is that they didn't do the 'evil parents' thing. Instead, they did something more realistic. Elsa's parents hurt her, but they were doing what they thought was right. They were trying to help her.

It's just something I found and I thought it was a pretty good tip. Not only do I write, but I read a lot of things like fanfiction, and a lot of people should know this. I took a forensics class in high school and I actually know some better gross facts. Anyone who writes mystery or crime should take forensics classes, most book and TV portrayals of crime scene investigation is completely inaccurate.
I actually haven't changed my Tumblr avatar since I started Tumblr. I suppose I'll have to at some point, because that picture was taken at the beginning of my senior year of high school and I won't always look like that. Maybe next time I dye my hair I'll take a picture and use that. The most confusing thing on the Internet is when someone changes their avatar and their username at the same time. Then I have to try and guess who they are.

True, better role models exist. And yeah, a lot of people can't seem to find any middle ground, only one extreme or the other.

Why is it useful to a person who is scared of death?
