But doesn't it seem like on such a small website as this, work should get much more attention than say, on deviantART? The arts don't automatically get lost behind thousands of other works; sometimes you submit a work and it's still in Daily Fanart for a few days after. So why then do I get... 1 comment? If I'm lucky? And for things like my newest work, York and Delta, which I spent a good 9 hours on. Moreso than a lot of the people here would spend, I'm willing to bet right now.
Why then, on the Otaku, I have 43 views, 5 hugs, and 1 comment (really guys? 43 people view it and only 5 people think it's quality enough to hug, and one person thinks they should comment?!), and on deviantART for the same art, I have not many more views (57), yet I still have 5 favorites and 7 comments instead of just one? Granted, two of those comments are mine, but still. 5 comments.
It's not that hard, guys. And this was probably a bad example anyway, seeing as I just recently uploaded it to both websites. Over time dA gets waaaaaay more results. The Otaku... just sits there.
