I thought no one would ever find me, but I guess I was wrong.

Please tell me who you are; I'd like to know who bothers reading random posts about nothing. XD

I also have a DeviantArt account: HERE! I have some stuff up there that can't be uploaded here, so you might want to go check that out~!

Maybe I'm just being cynical...

But doesn't it seem like on such a small website as this, work should get much more attention than say, on deviantART? The arts don't automatically get lost behind thousands of other works; sometimes you submit a work and it's still in Daily Fanart for a few days after. So why then do I get... 1 comment? If I'm lucky? And for things like my newest work, York and Delta, which I spent a good 9 hours on. Moreso than a lot of the people here would spend, I'm willing to bet right now.

Why then, on the Otaku, I have 43 views, 5 hugs, and 1 comment (really guys? 43 people view it and only 5 people think it's quality enough to hug, and one person thinks they should comment?!), and on deviantART for the same art, I have not many more views (57), yet I still have 5 favorites and 7 comments instead of just one? Granted, two of those comments are mine, but still. 5 comments.

It's not that hard, guys. And this was probably a bad example anyway, seeing as I just recently uploaded it to both websites. Over time dA gets waaaaaay more results. The Otaku... just sits there.

>:C

Is it just me, or...

...is The Otaku kind of really fail now?

Half the time I come here, it's down... the other half the images are down and won't load. Also, no one ever seems to notice my work, even if it's like ten times more detailed and time-consuming than some silly 3 minute paint drawing of whatever is most famous these days. Is it so much to ask for some comments? And comments with substance, not just "LOL CUTE" or "KAWAII OMG."

The only reason I stick around is because of the friends I already have around here... otherwise I'd be gone, gone, gone.

:C
