OH MY GAWD GUISE I JUST BURNT OFF PART OF MY FINGERPRINT.
But other than that my day has been pretty neat. 
Alex got back from the convention (which was actually in Denver, not Chicago. I was way over-exaggerating/overreacting with that. 
) and we were sort of stiff in the beginning of the day, but she seemed to feel a little better when she realized that I wasn't planning on ending our friendship anytime soon. She showed me all this awesome-sauce stuff that she got at the con, like a dragon tarot card deck (she did a reading for me about my English paper. Apparently, the grade I'm going to get will be "intense" xD;) and a bunch of dice with like 20 faces, and other random geeky stuff. :]
I noticed she was trying harder to be less insensitive and stuff, so that's helping too.
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right?
