And that's good. attack is a steel type second best stat defense still unmatched but if were u I say having stone edge and earthquake is a safe bet that's just my opinion tho.

I've never really used a steel type before so this is going to be new to me. I've only been using my Onix against foes with mostly physical attacks though so I'll probably keep doing that.

I like steel type but the problems with most of them is low special defense witch make it hard when most fire type moves are special attacks sorry jasmine its just too easy

And I actually have my own second DS that I'm going to use to trade between SoulSilver and my copy of Platinum to get the trade done, just since I'm living at college and I don't wanna wait until visiting home to trade. The wonders of having another DS XD

Yanmega is pretty interesting since it's technically a sort of throwback, a prehistoric Yanma if you will.

Anyway, I'm glad you were able to get the Metal Coat. I assume you're going to perform a trade-back with your brother to get Steelix.
