Nope, they were there on the previous person's game. I decided to see what Pokemon they had, and I found three boxes full of basically legendaries.

I bought a preowned copy, and it was just there, along with tons of other legendaries, event and otherwise. I just assumed it was hacked ^^;

Actually you can pull off the Mew Glitch after the second gym. Though in Yellow it takes a little longer because they moved all the Abra.

And you had a Mew on Platinum? How?

I've never used the Mew glitch. I do have a copy of Yellow, but I've never gotten far enough in the game (I was too young to really pay much attention to it) to do it. However, that Platinum version came with a Mew on it, so I've just decided to adopt that one. ^^

I'd usually use at least one Legendary Pokemon on my teams. Sometimes two, especially after the Elite Four.

Of course when I found out about the Mew Glitch in Red, Blue, and Yellow it ended up being three.

Not on my official team, but I have taken him out for a spin on some wild Pokemon. That's what I usually do with legendaries, use them out in the wild so I don't feel cheap. When I got my copy of Platinum used, it had tons of legendaries on it. I filled up my whole team with them and just went out to the place with the highest leveled wild Pokemon. ^^; Maybe I'll do an all legendary Elite 4 run eventually. I dunno.

Well, I've never actually used either of them (like a doofus), but I rarely use Legendaries in-game anyway (like a doofus), so I often judge on which one looks cooler or has a cooler backstory or is chased by the team I support more... Maybe once I play Emerald my opinions will change, but I've got to get back to SoulSilver first...

But I do like using Kyogre better than Groudon. Partly because Kyogre can be used to easily take down most of Hoenn's Elite Four.

Though I will admit that Team Magma have cooler looking uniforms.

Volcanic regions are more my thing anyway but that's BESIDE THE POINT.
