for me ho-oh's scared fire is helpful very helpful with it's 505 chance of getting burned and it defrosts you when you use is so for those cheap gyms that use blizzard and freezes you almost every time they use it they will have a rude awakening

Well Kyogre and Groudon are part of a trio, so maybe that's why.

I like Ho-Oh better because of its fire abilities. And because it's kind of a dazzling looking bird.

Plus it can be found on the roof of a cool ancient tower.

I think they're both really cool, but I think it's probably Lugia's ability with storms that tips the scale for me.

I think the reason Lugia isn't a Water-type is so Ho-Oh's attacks could cause actual damage to it. I mean if they are counterparts to each other they should be evenly matched.

I personally like Ho-Oh better than Lugia, but that's my preference.

I have to say I like Lugia better than Ho-oh, but that's just me. I always wondered why it wasn't a Water-Type though. That kinda ticked me off. Guardian of the Seas isn't a Water-Type. Bah.
