I got so excited when I first read that...I thought there'd be a crime lord tournament to participate in...I could see a cool plot forming around Giovanni being let in to the World Tournament...hm, fanfic idea forming....
I did read something about Giovanni being in that World Tournament thing on Black 2/White 2. I guess they don't know about him being a criminal mastermind in Unova.
Ahem....I mean... (cough) No more fangirling, I apologize.
While he ranks fairly low on my list of favorite evil team leaders, I still love this guy. He's one of the few leaders I find actually kinda scary. And I agree that his outfits in the anime were not really the best of fashion choices. I've actually been seeing pictures of his appearance in the Black and White anime, and I actually kinda want to see the episode now...Debating with myself...
He's actually scheduled to make an appearance in BW2, in the World Tournament. However, he's there because of his gym leader status, not his evil mastermind status. So no battling Maxie in full DS quality for me i.i I guess I'll content with Giovanni for now ^^; Dang, I miss this guy.
