Well an outline can help you figure out how long the story is going to end up being. Plus if you decide to stop working on a story for awhile, it's easier to figure out where you left off when you worked on it last.

Not really...I do write down a lot of preparatory stuff but never an outline...maybe I should try that every once in a while...

Well, I am remaking a whole anime series from the point when it started to suck. So it's no surprise that it would require a lot of chapters. But yeah, it is nice to at least know how long the thing is going to be.

Perhaps. I mean the revised Unova saga I plan to do next is going to be close to seventy chapters long, but I still might be done before you.

Well, it's kind of a long process. Right now I'm doing a revised version of the anime where Ash faces Team Galactic, and the next part is a completely redone version of the Black and White anime. So it's probably going to be awhile before I get to the actual battle between Ash and Silver.

The Lugia you get from purifying Shadow Lugia sure has an interesting set of moves though. It learns Deoxys's signature move, Psycho Boost.

I rather like that once you purify Shadow Lugia you can send it over to Ruby and Sapphire, and I assume Emerald as well.

I still haven't figured out all the details of how Silver obtains Shadow Lugia, but he's going to end up battling Ash, who's already captured Ho-Oh in another story I've done.

Yeah, the Colosseum theme did get a little annoying after a while...and now it's stuck in my head, lovely...

I haven't fought Shadow Lugia yet, but I like the buildup they've been giving it throughout the game. Odd, I'm writing a fic where Silver gets control of regular Lugia...Great minds? XD Though I like the more villainous nature of yours.

I rather liked the fan remix myself, but then I kinda like techno music. I got a little tired of the Colosseum theme about half way through, but I did like the 70s feel of the Gale of Darkness theme. Rather fitting considering this character's um... "unique" afro.

I'm actually not all that familiar with Colosseum. But I have at least read about Gale of Darkness. The concept of Shadow Lugia was rather interesting. In fact I plan to use Shadow Lugia in a fanfic later on (under the control of Giovanni's son, Silver).
