Nah, I've never had that happen. I actually don't do a lot of breeding, to be honest. The only thing I've really done is breed Eevee to give out to friends ^^;
Yeah, Fossil Pokemon are usually hard to raise when they aren't fully evolved. That's why I usually did it after I beat the Elite Four. But good luck with that in the future game.
So did you ever breed a Pokemon that inherited a move you didn't know it could?

I've always really liked Kabuto and Kabutops, much more than Omanyte and Omaystar (which I think spelled wrong...) I've never really raised one myself, though...I don't seem to have a lot of luck raising Fossil Pokemon, but I think I might go back to trying to use one on my team the next time I start a new game...
