I like salamance but I had a bagon in sapphire it took until black and white to get it to a salamance because shelgon I just didn't like it i just couldn't do it(this was back when I barely care for most pokemon the weren't electric) but hydragion changed me now its my third fav dragon now ^^ hydragion 2nd and top fav is dragonite "go ice punch"
I personally enjoyed using Salamence, But then I always took pride in raising one from a Bagon because it takes a lot of work. Plus I like Dragon Pokemon in general.
I can't say I like Salamence as much as Flygon--maybe it's because Salamence has a very Western-dragon-esque look, while Flygon was based on an insect? I dunno. I've only used Salamence once before, and I can't say it was anything spectacular...

Dragonite's one of my top favorite Dragon Pokemon too. But yeah, dragons can be hard to train and evolve.
