Yeah, so far I like Mewtwo and Charizard's Mega forms from X more than their forms from Y.
What's interesting though is that the X Mega forms have higher Physical Attack stats and a dramatic type change, while the Y Mega forms have higher Special Attack stats and keep their original types.
They keep making dai want x more than y mega charizard is too cool dai has one charizard thats sp atk based but now it can be dai's physical attacker its over and mega mewtwo x right next to it's too much >.< tho mewtwo y might be more useful since his moveset is mostly special but still

Yeah, it's gonna be exciting.
But yes, the first thing I thought of when I saw this new Mega Charizard was the shiny version of the normal Charizard. The blue flames are a nice touch though.
