Yeah. I mean it is kinda cool that a lot of the older Pokemon are getting an upgrade, but the fact that the game creators seem to be focusing more on that makes one wonder if they're starting to run out of ideas for completely new Pokemon.
I know! My biggest problem was the fact that they're reusing more old Pokemon than were introduced with the new generation. I mean, seriously? They couldn't come up with any other Pokemon?
I know, there aren't really a lot of new Pokemon in this latest generation. One has to wonder if this is because the game creators put more energy into stuff like Mega Evolutions.
Yeah, Fennekin's final form was sort of a disappointment for me. Though it is kinda cool that it's a Fire/Psychic-type. Anyway, there are a few of the new Pokemon that I rather like, such as the new Ghost/Grass-type Pokmon: Phantump/Trevenant and Pumpkaboo/Gourgeist, and that sword and shield ghost, Aegislash. But yeah, I am a little disappointed by this assortment. I was expecting more somehow. And only three new Legendary Pokemon? What the heck?
That's a very small amount of new Pokemon. I'm quite surprised since there were so many in the previous generation. And I think it's kind of odd that in this new batch, there's exactly one Pokemon related to a Pokemon in a previous generation.
Call it karma. Call it luck. Me, I just don't give a... BOUNCE!
I think they were mostly a mix, but I remember there being a dominant type, for example, Wil had Psychic types, Bruno had Fighting, Flint had fire and so on.

Only 69 new Pokemon?
Am I the only one who's unsettled by the designs and names? Particularly the starters' final forms?

Good question. Usually they use different types of Pokemon than the gym leaders of the region they're from do. At least that's what I recall.
