Ivy is carefree and almost always happy. He's kind of clingy to people he meets, trying to be "the best friend he can possibly be (or maybe more)" to them. His traveling bag is chock-full of berries that he's gathered throughout his journeys. Even though he could easily share with people, he chooses to keep them all to himself. He also has difficulty keeping thoughts about people to himself, and often ends up blurting them out. (i.e. "You look really pretty!" or "I think you think too highly of yourself.")
Smudge is kind of an enigma. He keeps to himself sometimes out of fear that he will upset people if he tries to socialize "too much" with them. He usually blushes when this happens, for he often can't come up with good answers (and is still a little afraid of being unable to carry on the conversation). He may seem a little cold at first, but if one is insistent on getting to know him, they will find he's a tenderhearted guy who would make great sacrifices for people he barely knows. Though, it's more difficult to get him to fall in love than you might think. A quirk of his is that he loves loves LOVES the many kinds of gijinka appendages, and will sometimes catch himself unconsciously petting them. Profuse apologies and stuttering always follow.
