Yeah, I had the same idea! :3 Like "Where the heck did you come from?!" thing~ And like Iruka pointed out, the new regions do tend to have previous Pokemon after beating the Elite Four.

I think Eneko did it best, I think new gijinkas who are from the 5th genereation should explain they are from a far away land since really any of the gijinkas from the club would never of heard of pokemon from that region.
I am past the elite four and other pokemon from previous areas exist in the game but still they should be introduced as new ones from new area.
Hm! I dont think anyone has brought this up, as far as I know, yet. Good question. I don't see anything wrong with introducing the 5th generation. But I echo the question below me: how did they come into existence?
OR... will are the characters just "already have been knowing that there was a new set of Pokemon"?
OR, if a newcomer arrives, we can have the existing characters be all like "WTF IS THIS WHAT PKMN ARE YOU?? O.O" and the new gijinka can explain how he/she came from a far away region and such. *shrugs* it's grounds for a good introduction to the roleplay, right? :3
I had wondered that myself, because Iruka thought my newer OC was going to be from B&W.
I thought... all of the other Pokemon are already known, how it is explained how the new ones came about? Where did they come from or how were they not known before?

Yeah, I had the same basic idea, like:
Shola: What kind of gijinka are you? I've never even heard of a pokemon like that!
I had an idea for a new character, too, cuz my picture for the Black and White Gijinka challenge came out better than expected~
