My life has been based entirely on mainly one thing; Pokemon. I knew how to say 'Pikachu' by the time I started learning to crawl. Pokemon has been mainly my thing for a very long time, and now I can enjoy it by playing the Pokemon TCG card game. I go to card shops and play against people with different decks that I make on my own.
Pokemon TCG is a game that requires math skills and thinking skills for strategy and if you have a deck that implements math A LOT!! You also have to make your deck work with the type of pokemon you use and the main star of the show. I have about 3 decks, 'Palafin,' 'Mega Lopbunny EX,' and 'Decidueye EX.'
I play against some new people very randomly, but most of the time its the same people. This can be very helpful because you learn their strategy every time you play against them and learn their deck inside-out. The new people rarely come back so when someone new comes, I try to have the best game I can with them because they usually DON'T come back!
The deck that I am using right now is the Decidueye deck, AKA a grass-normal type deck. It's pretty good. The deck wins some and looses some but my strategy mainly wins some.
When you win, depending on what place you get, you can earn up to 10-20 dollars in store credit. Everyone also gets a prize card pack, which can only be earned from playing in the league..
