The Ritz (part II)

James had a job to complete if he was going to eat tonight but, he wondered, how many of his men would even live till dinner? The zombie corpses were ripped apart. That was nothing a gun could do. "Stick to formation" James said, "and just pray its not a bear" The Merc company moved slowly trying to make as little noise as possible.
Another scream came, higher and louder this time, and it was hungry. It made the company freeze in fear. They knew at that moment that none of them were getting out alive...

Canti looked at the little girl before her. the girl was only five years old but already forced to work just to live. Canti had come into this city for help many years ago and they took her in but it was her that gave help. she used what her mother had taught her about healing wounds to make the sick and injured well again. they gave her a shack and all the medical supplies they had form before the Apocalypse. they accepted her into their town and hearts.

"This area's clear" James told his team, "lets move up a floor" James led his team to the stairs. on the next flight bodies littered the hall. James stared cautiously down the hall.
