I just recently finished it up and wore it at a convention. Even though it seems pretty easy, it was difficult mainly due to inexperience and I got stalled up because stuff happens. It was really encouraging that a lot of people knew who I was even with the alternate outfit. My wig ended up looking kind of busted, but I know how to make it better for next time.
I'd say making an outfit is a lot of hard work, but its something you should try at least once so when people ask you can be like, "Yup, I made that." (Though I had a lot of help)
oooh princess bubblegum cosplay!! The costume plan is great! -->it's simple, so its easy to make. But it also gives the aura of who your cosplaying (her crown and hair lol)
You know, we're in the same boat~ i'm also thinking of making my first cosplay soon (right after i get paid at work lmao) I'm planning to make something like a Nano(nichijou)cosplay, including the giant wind-up key stuck to her back! Good luck at your cosplay!
