O.o Really? They must not be very good at it. Or, if they are, its purely physical skill- no real 'self' in it. That's actually kind of sad, if you think about it.. *smiles* Well, I know how to hurt people if that's what you mean, but most of my practices are 'within self'- rather than physically represented or coordinated with movement. But, I dont even like to do something as simple as paralyzing muscles. (Which is excruciating painful, if you havent experienced it. ;.;) Like I said- I'm a healer. I dont like to hurt people. :3 (Or even really admit to being able to. p.p) I certainly ask him though, next opportunity I have. :3 (Or, if it's really complicated or something- I'll just have him pm you from my account. :3)
Ah, it's cool to meet other people who can manipulate ki. You know there are martial artists who don't believe ki exists at all. :| My father told me about it, but he expected me to figure it out on my own, and I did. Although the idea of healing with ki isn't new, I always get kinda shocked to hear people learn how to use it and not be martial artists. Yet there are martial artists out there who are like O_o when I talk to them about ki.
Yeah, yeah ask him definitely like I said I always am willing to learn.
Just a little. I have no intention of using it for assertive purposes though, so I dont claim to have such skills. :3 I'm an empath and a healer though- so I have a naturally strong ki. And my dad has been training me since I was very little on controlling and manipulating it. :3 I know how you feel. I also do acupressure and massage, so when I do things, and apply my ki to it- people often think I'm magic or something. ^^; (Explaining it to them only seems to make it worse sometimes: as if people didn't think I was a total loon as it is!! X3) As a matter of fact, my friends call it my 'magic hands'. It's only good control and practice though. :3 Anyway- would you like me to ask him? It would be no bother. I understand if you're not interested though. :3
Well, tai chi IS a martial art people do it as "exercise" but it does have practical applications. Really? I'm kinda shocked that you do reiki? It's funny people say they do it but I then I show them the stuff I do with my ki and they're like O_o I learned to do stuff with my ki quick, it's probably due to the fact I've been doing martial arts for about 17 years.
I dont personally do martial arts (more of rei ki, and tai chi) but my best friend does, if you like me to ask him. I'm sure he'd be willing to share his styles and techniques. :3
