oh yeah I understand, for us Theo is kind of a community, but for other people is more like a showcase for their art, more like deviantart maybe. it would be wonderful to have more "full participating" members, who knows maybe there are some people who haven't discovered this site yet!

Yeah, exactly! I mean, it's one thing if you're on a big site and you put "I sub back" on your profile so you can get as many followers as possible, but it's different here because there's so few of us. I wish more people understood that.

Few but good, I like that. That's a good point, there's not a lot of us, but that means anyone who is still here is very active. That's what I like about TheO. There's only a handful of us, but we look out for each other. I just get frustrated when people come on here just to upload stuff and don't give back to the community at all, know what I mean? But you're right, life is short, why worry about it? I shouldn't let it get under my skin so much. Since you mentioned it, I've definitely been guilty of liking art without taking time to leave feedback. I'm gonna work on that.

I know, it's so frustrating! Like I just hit fifty subscribers recently, and it feels like such a big milestone, but a couple years ago when I started my first account I hit fifty in like my first month, which is nuts, especially considering what a crap artist I was back then lol. Times sure have changed

We are a small community so it is always nice to sub someone back, especially if they are active on here. It gives both people a chance to see what's new and everything.

In Italy we say "pochi ma buoni" (Few but good) I think a lot of people are not active anymore, I mean I subscribed to people who where active in 2008/2009/2010 because their art is sooo good . I "only" have 38 subscribers but I don't care and I'm just happy about it if they are active people who can give me a tip or good criticism to get better or resolve a problem. I find more annoying that people like artworks without commenting, I mean is so difficult to press those little square things and form a comment? but then again I'm not that angry about that too, I just accept everything people can give to me without worrying too much about the rest. life it's too short to worry for such trivial matter after all.

You're not alone in this, friend. I've subscribed to about 100 people and only a few have subscribed back.

I understand sweetie. I have felt that way too when subbing to people on here and I wondered why they don't sub back. I just wanted to be friends with *insertUSERnameHere* but not everybody wants to be friends I'm afraid, either that or they are elitists. Nine times out of 10 it's because they're elitists. Sad but true. But don't worry, you have plenty of REAL friends on here that enjoy what you post and that look forward to your art.

I see where you're coming from because I also sub because I want to be friends and get along with people. I guess some people just don't like subbing back for whatever reason
