There's no ball, just girls on skates trying to push each other down :) We did play basketball on skates at the last meet, though. I can barely shoot a ball as it is, having wheels on my feet, definitely didn't help!

Basically the jammer tries to get to the other side of the court to score, and the other team tries to keep her from getting there. I'll be honest, I'm a bit fuzzy on the rules myself, but the upshot is you get to shove other people while on roller skates. And yeah, I'm looking at getting a new job, because life is too short to try to talk old ladies into buying printing paper.
