That's crazy. I've never heard of a k-pop fan war before, especially one that has gotten out of control. Jeez, I hope everyone stays safe and hopefully knows when to back down. At least, it's calmed down a bit now. The artists have put so much work to the touring and albums, just to be hated on and to unintentionally start a war. People these days, ffs.
Aha, I'm not doing too well, but it'll pass :)
I understand that you may feel a little biased. I'm like that sometimes too.
If you like EXO that much then I really suggest watching the mini series 'EXO Next Door' about a girl who has to deal with the fact that 4 members of EXO moved in right next door to her. All the members appear but it's mainly D.O., Chanyeol, Sehun, and Baek Hyun.
Koneechiwa, I know that I am a little biased so, even if I did know them, EXO is my baby. though I cannot say that bigbang is not as good as EXO. I am happy that nobady has acted on the threats as well.
I am a huge fan because my mates are always showing me videos. SHINEE was the first that I ever watched. I have not seen any EPISODE or MOVIE by EXO.
Hello! ~ How do you know Big Bang isn't as good as EXO if you don't know of them? I think they're just as good ~ It really is good they didn't act on the threats, though.
I know about k-pop because I'm also a big fan ^^ although I'd say I'm more fangirlish than vicious. I also like EXO, as well as BTS, GOT7, VIXX, f(x) ,2pm, etc. I haven't tried Shinee yet but I was planning to check them out soon along with some others.
Btw, I saw your last post and saw that you watched the K-Drama with one of Shinee's members in it. So I'm curious: did you watch EXO Next Door? I watched it and nearly died from the cuteness. (^-^)
Koneechiwa. I am a K-pop fan of EXO, SHINEE, BOYFRIEND, and TOPPDOGG. I do not know od BigBang, but i do know that they are not as good as my EXO. yes, we KPOP fans are very vicious, but i am just an American fan. I am just glad that those people have not acted on those threats. I am alzo curious as to how everbody knows about KPOP.
I've actually heard that k-Pop fans are known for being especially vicious and I guess this proves it. Honestly, I thought American fans were over the top (which is why I avoid fangirling over certain things) but I agree that this was something else, although it's the first fan war I've witnessed. I also feel bad for the artists who were already tired from working to release their songs and touring. But I didn't hear of anything happening afterwards and things have calmed down by now( though it seems there are still a couple music awards left so those "pep rallies" are continuing). At this point I think it's all good.
I hope you're doing better as well. :)
Holy crap. This was a roller coaster to read o_o
I have heard stories of massive fan wars. I have watched Youtube fans from both sides fight in the comment sections of videos, Tumblr, Twitter, etc. I have sat in the sidelines as different fandoms argue over and over again. Maybe it's because I haven't seen the entire battles from what I saw, but I have never seen anything as violent as this. I feel bad for those affected and trying to make peace from both sides. I pity the bands because I bet they didn't have any intention to start a war.
Wow, some people really need to chill O_o
Glad you are doing well, btw! :)
