Zera's back story

When I woke I was in a dark room. I couldn’t see anything but a bit of light to my left. I tried to move to it but I was pulled back by chains that were attached to my wrists. I hissed as the metal dug into my skin. I sat down against the wall and tried to make my eyes adjusted to the darkness. I noticed that the clothing I was wearing before was gone and now there was just cloth covering the important parts. I frowned in annoyance that my cloths from home where gone and who knows where.

I don’t know how long it was till the light in the room got brighter as a door opens. I glared as I waited for whoever opened it to come in. A man came in and I growled at the stench of human scent went through my nose. The human man stepped aside and a human woman came in gasping.

“She’s so beautiful, Johnson” The human woman practically screeled in joy.

I growled again to warn her and she backed off slightly.

The man just chuckled and moved closer, making the woman feel a little more confident as she followed him.

“ She can’t hurt you. She’s chained up. But yes she is quite beautiful. It is ashamed that the others didn’t make it.”

My ears fell back, as I heard that and I screamed a curse at them. My scream was cut off as my neck snapped to the side and my cheek stung. I hissed and glared at the man.

“You’re going to have to behave little wolf. It will make your stay here nicer.”

I continued to glare at him but knew that he was right. To continue living I had to at least act the way these people wanted me to do. The man and the women walked back out the door chattering and the door slammed behind them.

I was surrounded by darkness again and I sighed, sitting down against the wall again. I still didn’t know where I was but all I knew was that I was in the hands of humans and that could mean anything.

I don’t know how long I was in the darkness but every once in awhile a human would bring in food and water. It was gross but I had to eat it to keep my strength up if I was going to get out of here.

One day the same human male came in from the first day. He came in with four men tailing him. They had guns with them and they were ready to shoot if I moved the wrong way. They walked towards me and the man talked.

“ Time to get you out of this dark little room doggie.” He motioned for me to stand up and I did. He pulled a collar out and latched it around my neck, then unlocked the chains around my wrist. I massaged the sore spots there and lurked forward as he pulled on the chain around my neck. I quickly regained my balance as it seemed he wasn’t going to wait for me to follow him to the door. I quickly got a couple steps behind him so the extra chain just dangled between us.

When I got through the door all I saw more concret walls and a narrow hallway. The farther we got down the hall the more doors showed up. I wasn’t able to look in the windows but I could only guess that they were rooms like the one I was in. We turned a corner and a different door came upon us. It was more of a gliding door and it was a thick metal. The man holding my chain motioned for one of the gunmen to open the door.

The door open with a loud scraping noise and I fliched at the sound. The man, probably use to the sound, just walked in with me in tow. When my eyes adjusted to the the brightness, I looked around to see that it was a big enclosure of what looked like home. I frowned at the loud chattering coming from somewhere in front of me over a rock.

I blinked as the sound of chains sounded and the human spoke up. “ Welcome to your knew home wolf. You have some people waiting to see you.” He pointed down to the rock and then walked back to the sliding door and closed it with a loud thud.

I hesitated but started walking up to the rock. I stepped up a bit of an edge and when I reached the end of the rock there was an edge that went down to a chain fence. Behind that fence was a number of human's pointing and applauding when they saw me.

My ears went down and I growled, moving from their sights. They yelled in disappointment and one of them, a bit louder then the rest, reassured them that I just needed time to adjust to the environment and the people. I huffed and set my back against the step.
