I care...it hurt to end the friendship because she knows I am there it don't matter I have forgiven so many times but the thing is I dealt with the dumbest, serious and most of all hard core things thrown at e with them...even when they needed someone and no one had their back I did. I always do. I never leave anyone...ever that how I role but now it hard to say.
my best friend in rl is very unreliable. it annoys me emmensly. but the thing that keeps our friendship going is that, we will always be there when it really matters, shes my shoulder to cry on and vice versa, we've been through thick and thin, we tell each other our deepest darkest secrets. And we know they won't go any further. but the reason i do not fall out with her over being so petty, is because she hasn't fallen out with me over the silly petty things i do. u see in rl, i can be a little bit of a push over. i find my strength in protecting others, not myself. this pisses her off. shes always saying to me 'soph, u need to standd up for your self, don't let them walk all over you!! tell them to piss off!!' the way i see it is, they have the problems, not me. so what ever they do to walk over me with, i kind of brush under the rug and carry on with my life. She could easily fall out with me about this, just like I could with her unreliability. The reason we don't is because... we're like adopted sisters, and we love each other as such. We see it that... it's just apart of the quirks of our individual personalities, and instead of trying to change each other, we are just there for one another when it counts. Hell we've helped each other along the way. we've grown stronger as people. But me and my best friend have known each other since we were 11, i'm 25 now, and shes turning 25 this july. Remember... you have dumped your friendship like a sack of potato's. but before you do think oh it's fine... let me ask you to do this... ask her... 'what is the most annoying thing you can think of I do that would drive you to the same actions that I have done? And why didn't you ever do what I did?' See what her answer is... then if it is what I said above... I really think u should reconsider your below answer, and really think what you want. Forever friends are very hard to find. they're actually treasures you should respect.
it shudn't matter, you shud be pleased for her, and supporting her decision. Not trying to make her feel bad. if shes happy then just let her go with it. When or if things go tits up, well then that will be then. But for now... just leave her be. She obviously really likes the dude, so just see how it goes. Thats what best friends are meant to do. Be there for each other. And everybody deserves to have there own rights of whast they do in there life. without having to worry about being peanalized. Which is essentually what your doing. This is why you feel guilty to, cause deep down... you actually realise this yourself, your just afraid... or stubbon? to admit it. Sorry if that seemed quite harsh.
