I believe in my legs; I expect that they are going to hit the ground and are not going to punch a hole through the ceiling.
And when I'm on stage, I believe that my fingers will know what to do to the piano to make the sound come out in a way that those listening will enjoy it.
But can you believe in me? What if I'm just deceiving you into NOT trusting yourself? What if believing in has little to do with trust and more to do with expectation?
Though even if i do trust myself, I just can't get myself to trust those other people >o< Have they really started appreciating me as a classmate, rather, as a person? or do they only think of me as some kind of tool to be used again?
There are lots of people who are good at acting. I've been a victim of those.
I know awhat you mean I was a smarty pants no lie but after seeing how people only hung out with me for grades made me just stop caring for grades now it seems idk what to care for...
I could really relate to this one. Nowadays i feel like only i could trust myself, since i've been hurt so many times in the past. Back then, I'd always blabber about geeky computer stuff, making my other classmates think that i'm some sort of smart kid. Because of that, some of them tried to become close with me and mooch me off my answers and projects, until the time they realized i wasn't that honor student they were thinking about. Soon, those people who used to be my 'friends' now purposely lag me down at groupworks. And now, since i've actually started getting serious and taking my classes seriously, those people who betrayed me started hanging around again, being all kind and nice that sometimes it makes me sick.
(is this long? lol i should prbably stop, but i've got so much to tell. nevermind :D)
