haha yea i was thinking minoring in art.. even though i love art alot, psychology has some AMAZING career possibilites, if i were to get a doctorate (alot of college DX) i could do almost anything i want with that kind of career, and i wouldnt have to worry too much about school debt (id still have to worry about it though in small part) since you can make A LOT of money, because you could do SO many things all at once.
Good plan. :3
I think community colleges accepts anyone so you're safe.
Now that I think of it, if you still wanna do art or psychology, see if you can minor in one of them. That way, you can study both.
yea i plan on applying to a few colleges that im really interested in and then a couple community colleges nearby them that way even if i dont make it in at first if i start out in a community college i can still try and apply to university that is near by with out issue
Hope it all works out! You should have a 3.2 GPA or a 85 overall average in the 4 years to be on the safe side. Your grades doesn't seem too bad. That failed class seems like baggage. Not sure but if you made up for it & did way better, it may show you're a hard worker & bump up your overall grade.
I'd apply for some safety schools & every college I can.
yea true, im gonna go talk to my guidance councelor and add my drama club one that i guess i have from last year.
my grades have been ok though... the last two years, they definitely havent been great though >_<
well they are all 80's and 90's actually except for ONE class every year that brings me down, except in 10th grade there was 2 but one was way higher than the other, 10th grade is the only year in highschool that i've failed a class, but i made it up and got credit for it in summer school though.
It's mostly grades they look at. I had extracurricular activities, but they apparently didn't care. HS and college are all about grades.
I think whatever you get into, there's always going to be debt; it depends what your major is that determines how much debt you'll have.
yea... the school debt thing has me worried too... its kind of intimidating, and i doubt im gonna be able to get any scholarship with my grades haha, and i dont do sports either (i can thank my MOTHER for that one =_=.. i always wanted to play but she never let me now i NEED activities and stuff to even be able to get INTO a college DX)
Same. I can't figure out what to study. I mean, I thought about going for science but it's not my strong suit, so I'm worried even if I canfind a job fast. Good luck deciding!
I'm not sure if this would help with your decision but read page 14 to 16.
Whatever you pick, the road is bumpy so you need the enthusiasm to continue. Don't forget the feelings you had when you make your choice, it may help go back to your origin of drive/inspire.
