Oh, I recommend you fill out the Common App if you're applying to private universities in the summer, or I think you can do it now, not sure, and get all the easy stuff out of the way, like personal info and club activities and such, so you have more time to focus on the essays later on.

Same here. The 'city' where the college was look about as lively as my physics class...it looked like the sort of place where nothing happens. I didn't see a mall or a theater near by...the only place that looked remotely fun was the beach...

I have no idea...as of now, my mom is trying to make me go to UC Santa Barbara...that's probably where I'll end up since there's no way to convince her to let me go to Germany even though they're offering to pay half-tuition, and they're waiting on my financial info to offer more...

Lol, I think it's 'cause I'm used to living in the city...the lonely road convinced me not to go. If the school had been in Orlando or Miami or another city, I'd already be packed.

If you don't mind me asking, where are you going to college then?
I don't live near major cities, lol, although I will probably end up in some kind of city for college.
