I've actually been doing that lately. In fact I'm already entered in a couple right now. The problem is that a lot of the challenges don't usually appeal to me.

whenever i find myself lacking inspiration, i usually head to the challenges. participating in a few of those usually helps me out. maybe it can help you too?
