Well that is one thought I've had. The idea was to show a wallpaper featuring Sailor Moon, the hero that really got me into anime, and Cell from DBZ, the villain that really got me into anime. But for some reason it doesn't seem like enough. Then again it might be a good idea to keep things simple.

Make it how you are, let the wallpaper reflect your style. Use your favorite character. That's all the advice I can give.
