Yes, I know I'm kinda cracking down on you sometimes, yet if you don't have the spark it's not going to happen. As a writer, I can understand that. My book has been at a dead end since I don't know enough about recovery from assault.
I'll keep at my part pf the fan fiction where ever I can though. Currently this involves making cards on YCM and deciding the order in which to play them (characters Luke, Roxanne, and Luna), but my skills have limits.
I really hope you're able to pick this story up again after not working on it for so long. To this day, I still credit this as our fan fiction. Go ahead and slack. You know I do. But please don't drop out entirely.

You're welcome. And maybe I should just stick to writing one-shot fanfics for a while. Part of my problem I think is that I don't know what my next really big project should be.
I didn't know that you work at an archive place, that sounds interesting and I don't blame you for feeling down when you heard about people's stories being hospitalized. I would too. Also it's such a coincidence that you mention about the sucky part of being old cuz recently I have witness some sucky situations with my grandpa and great aunt...but that's part of life.
That's good that you tried to understand the negative feedbacks and tried to improve from them. From the sound of it, it does seems like you need a break. But don't stop writing, maybe just write about simple things for fun and not anything serious. And when you feel like writing again, pick up the pen or use that type writer or keyboard :)
Eh...I'm just having a "meh" day. Haha I just got a negative feedback for my homework assignment, so I'm just gonna do what you did and tried to work with it and improve from it. Thanks!
There are things I like about winter, but it can get rather depressing after a while. Especially when there's no snow. Then it's just cold and darkness without the beauty. Anyway, you're right. Bad feedback always stings a little, even if it is constructive.
You're right, bad feedback happens, but it still feels lousy, especially if you were already having a bad day. I've definitely been there. I bet you're probably feeling down because it's winter. It can be hard to stay positive when it's cold and dark all the time. But hey, spring is coming! Well, sort of. I don't know about you, but I always feel better about life in general in the spring.

@Hifsa:
Maybe it's just the season, at least for me. It's a little hard to do some things in winter.
