I do think that you're right about taking a step back and seeing your original motivation on things. It's funny though that you should mention going back to old fanfiction. I actually started doing that recently myself, and getting back into writing it. It was something that I really used to enjoy doing but kind of let myself lose track of. I'll be sure to check yours out soon too. I've always loved reading them, and it sounds good. Glad to hear that you're really getting back into doing it too :)
