Yeah, that I can imagine. You know our neighbor's cat would occasionally kill rabbits, then when he finished with the part of the rabbit he wanted, he'd give the rest of it to our neighbor's youngest dog.
well to be honest they got carried away behind the house and from there i couldn't even imagine lol. My dog also had a bad habit of going after squirrels and birds lol but she never ate them so those piled up
Yeah, that was the first time I've seen a cat snag a bird from the bird feeder. Not the first time I had seen a cat kill a bird though. My own dearly departed cat ended up killing at least five or six sick or immature birds in his lifetime, and all those times he was outside on a leash.
I could picture that one as I read it very well. We live on a farm, and have seven feral cats living around our house, and there have been many times I've found feathers (and several I've seen birds being eaten ^^;). We don't even keep bird feeders for all of that anymore. It's kind of sad. Interesting to hear that someone else has seen them do stuff like that too though.

Yikes! How many bird corpses piled up because of the placement of that feeder?

I can relate 100% my own cat did the same thing when I lived at home >.< I tried to convince my mom to move the feeder but she wouldn't lol
