I'm so sorry to hear about your grandpa! It's never easy losing a loved one.
As people have already said, everyone grieves differently, and as we get older, I think it gets a little bit easier because you understand things a bit more now. So I feel like your reaction is pretty normal.
It seems like my way of mooring my grandpa's imminent passing is different from how I mourned a death like this in the past. But then I guess I was younger than I am now during those times.
I'm very sorry about your grandpa. As to how you're handling this, everyone grieves in a different way. I'm sure your grandpa lived a long, full life, and when you spend so much time with someone like that, that makes it a little easier to say goodbye.
When my grandpa passed away, I was sad, but I understood that this was his time. I took it much better than I thought I would. In fact, during my family's time of mourning, I cried over things that were probably much more petty than his death.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that death is a strange thing because your world stops and yet life goes on. You're just coping with it in your own way.
Call it karma. Call it luck. Me, I just don't give a... BOUNCE!

I'm not any good at words when it comes to sad times, but I do hope that everything gets better.
