Ending of ZeXal though. I legit wanted Yuma to die for reasons other than him sucking. It would have developed Shark's character. But instead it was too direct, with no plot twists.
I suppose I could tell you about the ending, but that would kind of ruin things for you. It's only through experiencing the glorious epic thrill ride that is Gurren Lagann can you truly appreciate how much of a travesty the ending really is.
That ending was more than a letdown! It was a total ripoff! And I better say nothing more on the subject at this point, lest I go on for half an hour. I like your coping mechanism for the ending though.
I think I know what you mean about Gurren Lagann. It was a great anime, but the ending felt like a letdown to me. I mean, it made sense in terms of plot, but it was not at all satisfying. I actually came up with an alternate ending as a coping mechanism.
Call it karma. Call it luck. Me, I just don't give a... BOUNCE!
I totally get the angry rants about the Yu-Gi-Oh endings, these two series in particular. The build up definitely doesn't lead to any satisfaction in those series; a total letdown....

Well the ending was worse than that tragic moment.
