Before I begin this tale, I want to make it clear that the title of this story has in no way, shape, or form, have anything to do with the new series, Digimon Xros Wars. The reason that the title of this story is called, World Crossing, is because this story shall link together the worlds of the original Digimon series, Digimon Adventure/Adventure 02, and Digimon Tamers. I know it's probably not an original idea in Digimon fan fiction, but it's one I'm going to try. My approach to linking the two worlds might be more original, as I will be using a character that already links them, Ryo Akiyama. Those of you who are familiar with Tamers probably remember Ryo and his Digimon partner Cyberdramon. A little known fact about Ryo is that he's actually from the world of the original Digimon anime. Ryo was the main character of a series of Digimon video games made for the Wonderswan game system, which never made out of Japan. These video games chronicle Ryo's battles against an evil Digimon called Millenniummon, and how Ryo ended up in the Tamers reality. The story that I am about to tell will take place in the world of the original Digimon series at about the same time as the events of my previous Digimon fan fiction tale, Call of the Ocean. You don't necessarily have to read my previous tale to know what's going on in this story. Just know that the events in this story are taking place at about the exact same time as the events in the other story. In case you haven't read my previous tale, both stories are set when the DigiDestined children are in college. With all of that said, I shall now begin my tale.
