Oh btw if you live on the PH floor (highest/last floor) you don't have to worry about people disturbing you. except that if we live here, i won't lay a foot on the balcony because i have some high-phobia TuT
Thats exactly why I prefer living on the second floor... >.>
Never quite had that problem before but last year my downstairs neighbors were terrible...
They just weren't properly taking care of their dogs. They'd leave them outside all day by themselves so they'd get sad in the bloody tiny backyard they had and howl. For hours. All day. Until their owners came home. It was awful... my roommates and I felt like terrible people for not being able to help the dogs and no matter who we complained to nothing changed.
That SUCKS! Our neighbors haven't been too bad up until now, but then their oldest got a loud ATV and now he rides it up and down the same stretch of road for hours on end at any hour of the day or night. He doesn't go anywhere, just VRRRRRRRRRRMMMM up the road and then VRRRRRRRRRRRRRRMMMM down the road for hours and hours. So I feel your pain. Hang in there and if it continues maybe you could ask them to keep down the volume.
Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.
Well, then I have no further advice.
Wait, no! Yes I do:
If they do it again and they still don't stop...Then do something really loud and obnoxious back like play really loud music or something.
If they threaten to call the cops say:
It worked for you, how does your medicine taste?
Or something crazy like that.

I could tell you a nice little trick to use against these horrible neighbors of yours but...if you got caught you'd get in trouble ^^;;
So instead I will tell you this, instead of buying a gun call the cops on them. We've had to do it many times because of the people behind us too. -_- We have loud drunken hillbillies behind us and drunken druggies living in the other half of the double house we live in. I COMPLETELY understand. (thankfully the druggies moved out) So don't worry sweetie you're not alone.
Oh and here's a trick you can use that won't get you in trouble. If you see the kids out, make a deal with them. That's what we did with the one next door. We told him if he would stop kicking the walls and breaking all the pictures, be quiet at night, and don't stop up the stairs CONSTANTLY, we'd give him an icecream pop. It worked wonders.
I haven't been in that situation.
But if it is in those extreme circumstances, instead of buying a gun, call a gun...The police.
Disturbance or noise complaint is a liable reason to get police involved...You don't even have to tell them that it's you.

@mangaandanimelove:
It stopped the kid anyway lol but its parents kept yelling like idiots -_- -sighs- oh well can't win them all I suppose.
And I agree with The Dark Eclipse, if all else fails give them a taste of their own medicine.
