Hello All

This world will be filled with posts from my life; I am the person behind the character Satin Lacey.

A little about myself, I'm 21 and live in Perth Western Australia. In 2015 I will start university to study conservation science and creative writing. My interests in life are nature and animals, from the simple cute things right down to the nitty gritty of genetics, ecosystems, microbiology and all that complicated sciency stuff, as well as creative writing, table top role play, clay sculpting and other arts and crafts that occasionally randomly take my fancy.

At current I am living with friends in a shared house arrangement. We're all either uni students or will be attending uni. Apart from the other people living in the house there is also two cats, Tiger (a domestic moggy belonging to one of the housemates), Todd (a pure breed Bengal, He's my beautiful boy),a dog called Gypsy (a Vizsla/Kelpie also mine) and last but not least two ferrets Clhoe and Fae (both mine again)

Satin Lacey is a character I developed while playing Vampire the masquerade (a table top role playing game by White Wolf, part of the world of darkness series). I have many different characters whom I love dearly but as Satin is a Malkavian, and thus by nature must have an insanity, I clicked with her easily and just thoroughly enjoyed playing her character enough so that I made costumes. Satin’s insanity was bipolar, I personally suffer severe depression and anxiety. The similarities made her easy to play.

Enough about Satin though, she will have her own world. This one is all for me. Firmly planted in reality. How boring :P

Delays Already

Trying to get Satin's introduction written up but I forget how complicated her back story was. Holy moly writing so much and staying in character whilst trying to keep everything as brief and short as possible is hard. I think I will have to make her introduction basic and write her back story as a full entry of it's own.

We shall see. I'll try get it up soon.

here is one of the things distracting and delaying me. granted she isn't delaying me in this picture

this is Gypsy, and in this picture she's 12 weeks old. she's 13 weeks now and in only a matter of days will be three months. Best decision I ever made buying her.
