There are worse ways that other night could have ended. And yeah, it'll piss you off less as time does its thing.
Also, there'll be plenty of other summers too. And really, getting THAT much reading done isn't half bad! I had four books for this summer, and only finished one. So y'know, you can give yourself a little perspective. All in all, I'm sure you'll notice enough good to the summer if ya look for it.
