ahahah.. that'd make my art even more out of place if it was printed upside down.. lol..... but i dont think he mentioned the size of the book.. i should've asked.... tsk.. thats why it's partly my fault too.. i thought they'll do something about the sizes.. oh well.. it's already printed.. im fine with the quality.. just the size is a little off for me.. but it's good that the one on the side is also not a full print or else that'll make mine look smaller than it is... XD
yeh.. thats gonna be quite troublesome if u have a double in the site.. x.x
btw, what the meaning of ur name..? i've been wondering that for a long time now.. XD
and oh the sponsor.. omg.. he gives more than $200 a month... for his contest there are more than 10 honorable mention and they all get 1 month DA sub which is like $10 plus the $30 first place winner and $10 each for the 2nd and 3rd.. plus i saw him giving subs to random deviants too which makes me think he's kinda 1 of the admins but no he's not.... too generous im afraid it's kinda scary.. i dont know anyone else who'd do that... o.o
Do they inform you what is the size of the artbook? For example if the artbook size is 8x12 then you can estimate now what would be the size of your art. ^^ let say minus 1 inch(goes for the bleed) So your art should be 7x11 and that BIG

that and there's still that account with my name on it ;P (even if its not mine - i can still predict trouble if i all of a sudden create an account and say - "hey im 15385bic from theO" - - - "even if there's another 15385bic around here - that aint me - im the real deal but i had to change my name :P" ......yeah cant imagine that goin down so well - wow that guy must have money spare to actually give real prizes like that >.<
it's the first art book i've ever seen and owned.. im just glad i made it in there but at the same mixed emotions.. XD oh well.. i got my payment and the book and thats it... u should really have an account on deviantart now coz this guy's also holding up some contest and sending money as a prize.. i won something before and on his previous contest too so it's real..
i submitted a large file.. the sponsor asked me what size i want and i dont know.. i rushly answered with a size.. i thought that's huge but it appeared small.. even so, if it can be stretched out, i think they should've.. and they'll set up a size requirement next time daw.. if there's next time he said.. XD
The only fail i see is it was printed in small size. They should call you that day after you submitted it. Submission of data through internet is just one click away. Specially to a CMYK colors.
If your art can be enlarge/stretch without breaking the quality
then they should do it instead ^^
