hahah.. yeah... my hair got damaged with it too.. i tried dyeing it once, just the bottom and i can tell that the damage was done by the dyes not just coz it's too long.. split ends.. lol.. XD

p.s - dont dye ur hair unless u reallllyyy want to xD i've thought about it for two years and put it off, and then i ended up doing something totally different i just got blonde highlights instead of dying my whole head redish brown xD ... i'm glad i waited, the stylist actually told me to do highlights o3o so ask ur stylist too :D
awww.. that is soooo true.. i think the bottom of my hair dies out easily.. not just because of dryness or split ends.. lol..... >v<!! thank u for advice.. that really made me realize.. XD
