Although if I had my way, I'd definitely put Rastamouse in my best list. It's a British made stop motion pre-school series about a crime fighting Rasta Mouse, no fooling, accent and everything.
But I am quite strict with my rules so I had to leave it out.
I mentioned in my number one on the worst list that I don't feel right about putting pre-school shows on lists whether they are good or not, unless I myself have grown up with it, hence Thomas the Tank Engine. I don't have kids or younger siblings so I'm not that familiar with many modern pre-school shows apart from those that are heavily merchandised.
I watch a lot of cartoons with my younger siblings, and I have to make a case for Wonder Pets. It's cute and funny and has terrific music, and you can tell that hanging out with a bunch of hyperactive little girls has made me slightly insane because I love this show.
That's true. I do remember having the fear that Phineas and Ferb is about to "jump the shark" by the time they reached season 3. Heck, the P&F movie seemed to have given me that idea as well. Despite that, it still manages to be fresh, though sometimes it looks like it's trying a bit too hard already.
Phineas and Ferb is a really fun cartoon, at least during the first two seasons. These days, it seems that it has began to slow down already, which seems to be common with most cartoons.
Adventure Time, Gumball, and Regular Show came across as really weird for me at first, so I didn't really like initially. But eventually it has grown with me. And you're right, they do have some creative ideas. Maybe I was just longing for what Cartoon Network used to be back in the late '90s.
I agree. I agree!! Those were some awesome cartoons x) It's because of those cartoons that this quote still exist : Cartoons are not just for kids.
The Regular show, amazing world of gumball and adventure time are good because its kind of weird but funny. And the awesomeness is that it has no story-line so its just plain randomness. hahaha I'm not into cartoons lately but when I see those shows, it stops me from changing channels.

@The Mask:
Phineas & Ferb is a victim of being on for too long. It's not uncommon for popular cartoons to suffer from it.
