Well, I haven't actually watched the Legos Movie *is immediately ordered to the corner of shame* but the Corrupt Executive is a staple trope in many different genres. It's no different from the Corrupt General or Cop and I haven't seen anyone running around shouting that those media are being anti-army/anti-cop (generally).
The Corrupt Executive works because there are plenty of examples out there. Using a trope like this well should not automatically make people think the writers are trying to be anti-capitalist. Of course, it's possible to use it well AND be anti-capitalist but the presence of the trope itself does not mean a certain perspective either way.
Regardless I really liked this list. Albert Maverick was my favorite example of a Corrupt Executive. I enjoyed the way he was written ^^b
Maybe you could have a companion list with 10 Executives that are surprisingly not corrupt?
Keep up the great work! ^^/
