Ahh, the infamous jelly doughnuts. XD The most baffling to me are definitely that, #5, #2 and #1. I have only actually seen three of the series you mentioned.

I think Funi started the political jabs earlier than that with series like Sgt. Frog, but I assumed with that one that maybe the source material was making reference to Japanese figures/events. These new series inserting completely out-of-context material is really not cool.

I appreciated the edits in the little bit I saw of One Piece, though in hindsight, a lot of them were pretty awkward cover-ups (like the “juice” at the bar).
