Hi I'm Dranzerstorm
You may remember me as a regular contestant on the caption battle contest.
Welcome to Retro Retrospective, my world dedicated to the old guard of the Otaku world; expect some reviews of the old & obscure, and in-depth geeky knowledge with the occasional top ten and I now have a logo.

Little info about me
Well I'm British and I'm in to all things animated and nostalgia.
I've grown up with every cartoon going and have watched hundreds of anime.
Oh and to answer a question I was asked once, no I don't wear glasses in real life, I would wear Loke's sunglasses though.

Top 100 Anime 85-81

Alrighty then let's continue.

85. Battle Angel Alita
It's one of the few anime chosen for live action for better or for worst but all things considered Battle Angel Alita works as a cyberpunk anime.

84. Sorcerer Hunters
Not many scenarios where you hunt sorcerers in a fantasy setting, but what I like is that it's unapologetic about it's dominatrix theme especially from such unassuming characters.

83. Wolf Children
One of only two films on this list which is a big deal considering I've shunned Studio Ghibli's library. An emotional rollercoaster ride as a single mother attempts to raise half wolf children.

82. Strike Witches
Part of a growing trend of girls as things, this time aircraft, but what really makes this series come alive is the fact that all the witches are homages to ace World War II pilots and making them work together just makes the show all the more beautiful.

81. Space Dandy
It's simple, guy hunts aliens to record their existence in exchange for cash to pay for meals at space hooters. The hard part, anything can happen and there's an episode for everyone to enjoy.
