You can use different brushes that you can download off the internet. Obsidian dawn has some good ones.

Well, I make my wallies on gimp, so I could help!
1st of all open gimp, then select new. make sure the size you pick is 1024x768. Then, put what you want on it. When you save it make sure it's jpg etc.
