And that's what led to me sitting in a small red hotel room with Squall, Yuffie, and the elegant brunette, Aerith.
"So... wait. You don't remember who you are...?" she asked me, and I nodded. Squall was examining my Razorblade, and I was tapping his large gun... thing. He called it a Gunblade.
"Hopefully Cloud can help her. I've never heard him mention a sibling, though." Yuffie singsonged, swinging her legs.
"Me either. Are you sure you're related to him?" Aerith asked me, and I felt a flush creep down my face.
"His name... it seems familiar... I mean, I look like him, according to you three... and I can't seem to remember who I am, exactly.
It just seems to fit together, like a puzzle. You know?" I ranted, spinning the "Gunblade" in my hand. "Somehow, someway, I know Cloud and I are connected. I just... need a little help figuring out how."
"Well, we'll be happy to help." Squall threw the Razorblade up in the air, but it materialized and appeared in my hand.
"Wha...?" I managed to squeak out, and he started laughing.
"Of course, it's like Sora's Keyblade. Only you can hold it. But why?" he grumbled, and Aerith whacked him in the back of the head.
"Why do you think everything should belong to you, Squall?" she sighed, and he sat down on the bed next to me, a resigned look on his face.
"Forget about him." Yuffie dismissed, and knelt in front of me. "Well, you do look like him... and you even talk like the dude... I suppose anything is possible..."
"So you'll take me to see him?" I asked eagerly, trying not to jump up and down.
"Of course we will, hun." Aerith assured, and it took a lot of willpower to keep from hugging her.
"Oh, thank you! Thank you!" I held my heavily bandaged hands to my mouth. Why they were bandaged? I wouldn't know. But all I knew is that Squall was laughing at my immature nature, Aerith was beaming, and Yuffie looked excited.
"Let's go ask Cid for his Gummi Ship!" she chirped, and we ran out of the hotel, whooping and clapping. Well, me and Yuffie, anyway. Aerith and Squall followed, whispering and smiling. We found Cid in his Accessory Shop, flipping through racks of bracelets and rings.
"Oh Cid..." Yuffie sang out, and he rolled his eyes.
