Mani was innocently selling her Dragon Swords in a marketplace, when a guy came up and bought her golden one. Just as he was leaving, the guy said that he would pay anything for the sword made of the Master Drugonian (Manis race). She tackles him to find out what he knows, only to be blown away by his power. He vanishes, leaving Mani with no memories. As Rick tried to get her memories back, she vanishes, getting false memories from me and adapting to a life that is not hers. This is just at the part where Rick kidnaps Mani from a movie theatre and takes her into the TARDIS to get her memories back once and for all.
