    Aww this is very interesting^^ I know Konichiwa In Japanese means hello..i think..Thats about all i know hehe..I know nothing of the symbols

    "Sit here" would actually be koko de suwatte kudasai. The particle that "koko" (here) gets all depends on the verb at the end. ;D
    ni is for "state of being" verbs (live in, is in), de is for action verbs happening in a place, and e OR ni is for coming or going to a place.
    Particles are the hardest, so I thought I'd try to help out. :) I'm learning Japanese, too, so I like seeing these updates~
